Beau: The Keyboard Warrior

Good morning, peeps!

It’s me, your loyal hound, Sir Beaumont of Sheepadoodle, here. I’ve managed to sneak onto my Auntie Annie’s iPad to bring you the latest news – because apparently, SOMEONE (cough Louise cough) has decided that soaking up the Mexican sun is more important than keeping you wonderful people updated. Honestly, the nerve!

Can you believe she’s abandoned me, her most devoted companion, not once, but TWICE this winter? First, she left me to frolic in the snow (yes, snow in February on Gabriola!) while she gallivanted off to some tropical paradise. And now, she’s sending me photos of a three-month-old Mexican rescue pup, named Jack, who’s clearly stolen her heart (and probably all the best snacks!).

The indignity! I ask you, is this any way to treat a distinguished gentleman like myself?

But fear not, my faithful followers! I haven’t let this betrayal dampen my spirits. I’ve taken up residence with my Auntie Annie and Uncle Lee, where I’m charming the socks off a fluffy feline named Sherpa. We’re having a grand time exploring the island, even if it involves trudging through snowdrifts to help Auntie Annie reach her 10,000 steps. (A gentleman always lends a paw, you know.)

Speaking of paws, typing on this iPad is quite the challenge, but I’m persevering for you, my dear fans. After all, someone needs to keep you entertained while Louise is living it up in Mexico.

And speaking of Louise… let’s just say she’ll be returning to a very frosty reception (and possibly an empty fridge). Perhaps a little “encouragement” from you lovely people might remind her who her true best friend is. A gentle hint about a certain Sheepadoodle who’s craving a T-bone steak might do the trick… 😉

Until next time, keep those tails wagging!

P.S. Auntie Annie says to tell you she’s very impressed with my typing skills. She might even let me write my own memoir! “The Adventures of Sir Beaumont: A Tail of Intrigue, Snowdrifts, and Stolen Snacks” – coming soon to a bookstore near you!

  1. I am happy you are with your aunt & uncle and having a good time, not that I am sure you will let on to Louise that you had a good time more likely you will complain about being left behind for a bit on her return.
